Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools to meet health and safety standards Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing areas, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces Assist with food preparation tasks such as basic chopping or assembling ingredients when needed Support catering and banquet setups by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events Bypass or troubleshoot dishwashing equipment to ensure continuous operation during busy service hours Collaborate with kitchen staff to manage bussing duties, clearing tables swiftly and efficiently Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold hygiene standards across all tasks Requirements Prior experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key Familiarity with cleaning protocols and food safety regulations within kitchens or hotel settings Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen areas and utensils Excellent teamwork skills to coordinate smoothly with culinary staff and servers
