Full-Time / Part-Time Position Summary We are looking for a fast, reliable, and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. At Baekjeong, dishwashing goes beyond standard plates and cutlery—you will be responsible for handling heavy-duty tabletop grill grates, hot stone pots (dolsot), banchan ramekins, and kitchen cookware. You will work in a fast-paced, wet environment to keep clean equipment flowing to the line cook team and clean tableware stocked for front-of-house service.Key Responsibilities Grill & Heavy Duty Cleaning:
Safely clean, scrub, and de-grease Baekjeong's specialized tabletop grill plates, cast-iron pans, and hot stone pots using appropriate soaking solutions and high-temperature dish machines.Standard Dishwashing:
Operate the commercial dishwasher to wash, sanitize, and dry all dishware, glassware, flatware, and banchan bowls.Sorting & Stocking:
Organize and return clean cookware to kitchen stations and clean tableware to server stations efficiently without breaking items.BOH Sanitation:
Maintain a clean, dry, and safe dish pit area; regularly sweep, mop, drain standing water, and clear trash/food scrap bins.Kitchen Support:
Assist line cooks and prep cooks with light utility tasks, chemical inventory checks, and shift setup/breakdown as needed.Health & Safety Compliance:
Strictly follow local health department codes, chemical safety guidelines (OSHA/HAZCOM), and food safety practices.Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Prior dishwashing or kitchen utility experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred (Korean BBQ or Asian concept experience is a strong plus).Stamina & Physical Ability:
Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy loads (up to 50 lbs), including heavy metal grill plates and bus tubs. Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and reach continuously for 6-8 hours in a hot, humid environment.Speed & Focus:
Ability to maintain speed and composure during high-volume peak dinner rushes.Schedule Flexibility:
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Team First Attitude:
