Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Dishwasher/Porter to join our culinary team. Duties Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and assembling ingredients. Support the culinary team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring that all necessary items are stocked. Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the restaurant or hotel. Experience Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices is essential. Experience in food preparation or cooking is a plus. Background in catering or banquet service is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
