Low Turnover Recently remodeled building Located on bus line Strong Management Retention This role helps fulfill the resident's specific dietary requirements to promote their health and wellbeing.

Duties:

Assist cooks as directed with preparing kitchen and food for the next day. Prep current meal carts with beverages, side items needed for the meal. Sanitize tables and re-set after meal service. Re-stock tables with needed items between meals. Clean floors, empty trash cans, stock food supplies, wash and sanitize dishes, and clean all other parts of the work area and equipment as needed. Perform general cleaning of dietary department, including vents, ovens, vent hoods over ovens, and the outside garbage area. Organize stock and make deliveries, as needed. Properly cover and store or discard any leftover foods. When refrigerating, label, date and cover all food items. Store food in compliance with established dietary procedures. Follow Federal and State long-term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures Have a great time!

General knowledge of quantity food preparation, portioning and services.
