Job Description
The Daytime Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, and other kitchen equipment. You will also assist with kitchen prep work and cleaning duties as assigned by management. Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen tools while adhering to food safety sanitizing procedures. Follow strict sanitation standards to ensure the kitchen and dishwashing areas meet health and safety regulations. Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, pans, and crates safely. Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are properly cleaned and stored according to food safety management guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing station and surrounding areas through regular cleaning routines. Sweep and mop dining room floor prior to start of service. Maintain guest bathroom cleanliness. Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers. Assists with closing, including aiding in the sanitation of cooking and food preparation stations. Requirements Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent communication skills. Prior kitchen experience preferred.
