Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are sanitized and ready for use, supporting our chefs and food service staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This position offers an engaging opportunity to develop foundational kitchen skills while contributing to a vibrant restaurant atmosphere. Duties Thoroughly wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen operations Clear and bus tables promptly to maintain cleanliness in dining areas Operate dishwashing machines and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Handle manual lifting of heavy items such as large pots or bulk supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques Maintain strict sanitation standards by cleaning workstations, floors, and storage areas regularly Support food handling procedures by ensuring all items are stored correctly and safely in accordance with food safety management protocols Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and kitchen health and safety standards is advantageous Basic knife skills and knowledge of operating kitchen equipment are a plus Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards Good manual handling skills combined with a proactive attitude toward teamwork and safety Join us as a Dishwasher and be part of a lively team dedicated to delivering quality service while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
