Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep specialist, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace while assisting with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks. Your dedication ensures that our food service operations meet the highest standards of sanitation, safety, and quality, creating an exceptional experience for our guests and supporting our culinary team's success. Responsibilities Thoroughly wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures to ensure compliance with food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks. Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, including counters, sinks, floors, and storage areas, adhering to sanitation protocols. Operate basic kitchen equipment safely, including dishwashers, food processors, mixers, and other small appliances. Support the overall organization of the kitchen by restocking supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items according to food safety management guidelines. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Basic knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment are advantageous. Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and adherence to kitchen health and safety standards. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting culinary staff in a fast-paced environment.
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 35.0 per week
