Duties Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to thoroughly clean dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans in accordance with food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks and support the kitchen team in maintaining cleanliness standards across all work areas Bypass dirty dishes from dining areas and bus tables to ensure swift turnover and optimal service flow Handle manual lifting of heavy pots, trays, and boxes safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques and kitchen health and safety standards Support sanitation efforts by cleaning kitchen surfaces, sinks, and equipment regularly to uphold hygiene regulations Follow food handling protocols to prevent cross-contamination and ensure compliance with food safety management practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly while maintaining a clean workspace that aligns with sanitation standards Experience Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous Experience with dishwashing or kitchen cleaning tasks is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is valued Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of kitchen health and safety standards, including proper manual handling techniques and food safety practices Join us to be part of a vibrant hospitality team where your dedication to cleanliness and safety directly contributes to exceptional guest experiences.
