We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable dining experiences. Job Overview We are looking for a focused and energetic Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our restaurant operations, washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, and kitchen tools to keep the dining room and kitchen running smoothly. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about kitchen cleanliness, skilled in maintaining organized dish stations, and comfortable working in a lively setting. Responsibilities (This job description is not an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities) Washing and sanitizing dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and kitchen pans efficiently with enthusiasm. Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing machines accurately, checking chemical levels and water temperatures. Sort and stack clean kitchenware safely while maintaining high standards of organization and presentation. Return clean dishes and cooking tools to their proper stations quickly to support line cooks and servers. Empty, clean, and reline kitchen and dining room trash cans and recycling bins throughout the shift. Ensure proper chemical handling, sanitation, health department codes, and safety procedures are always followed. Assist with sweeping, mopping, scraping floors, and maintaining cleanliness in the dish area to support smooth operations. Qualifications Previous dishwashing, kitchen utility, or restaurant experience is preferred, but not required. Knowledge of commercial dish machines or chemical safety protocols is a plus. Strong work ethic with the ability to follow directions and clean kitchenware professionally. Excellent time management skills to handle a high volume of soiled dishes efficiently during busy hours. Basic communication skills for coordinating with cooks and servers to retrieve dirty items accurately. Experience with heavy lifting, organizing dish racks, and safe handling of cleaning products is desirable.
