Job Description
Job Summary Gio's Italian Kitchen is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen by ensuring all dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen areas are properly cleaned and sanitized. Responsibilities Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashing equipment and by hand when necessary. Keep the dish area clean, organized, and stocked. Empty trash and recycling containers throughout the shift. Sweep and mop kitchen floors as needed. Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks when requested. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Help maintain a clean and organized back-of-house environment. Qualifications Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and reliability. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help where needed. Restaurant experience is a plus but not required.
