Duties & Responsibilities:

Follows restaurant and health department protocol to ensure proper cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and front of house equipment. Assumes responsibility for cleanliness of all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment. Knows and complies with health department code of conduct. Maintains a clean and sanitary work area including dish-machine, triple sink, dish-racks, and dish shelving. Keeps all cleaned equipment stored neatly and properly to ensure ease of use during busy times. Empty trash and other dump receptacles. Helps kitchen team close and clean back of house.

Qualifications:

Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) Able to safely lift and easily maneuver containers weighing up to 50 pounds Above and beyond: Experience in a kitchen Experience as a dish-washer ServSafe certification.
