RESTAURANT-Dish Machine Operator

JOB SUMMARY

J.C. Holdway Restaurant is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, dish machine operator/ prep cook to join our team. The person for this role is detail-oriented, proactive and a team player. The dish machine operator should be able to follow direction from the Chef or Sous Chef. Consistent work schedule Tuesday-Saturday (Closed Sunday, Monday and Major Holidays).

JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an open kitchen environment so it is essential that work areas, equipment, and your general appearance must be kept clean and sanitary. You are responsible for washing and storing plates, glassware, utensils, cooking equipment(in the proper storage locations), sweeping and scrubbing floors, and removing trash. You may be asked to assist with various tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cleaning vegetables.

JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

You work hard and are a team player. You're dependable, honest, professional, and detail-oriented. You have excellent listening, time management, and prioritization skills, and follow instructions with precision. You have the ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift and carry at least 25 pounds, walk, talk, hear, reach, crouch, and/or kneel.
