Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to meet food safety and sanitation standards Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as ingredient handling and prep work under supervision Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are clean and welcoming for guests Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with health regulations Handle manual tasks including heavy lifting of pots, pans, and bulk supplies safely and correctly Operate kitchen equipment such as dishwashers, sinks, and cleaning tools in accordance with safety protocols Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold sanitation standards Skills Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitation practices within a restaurant environment Experience with food handling, food service operations, or catering is highly desirable Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards including proper knife skills and manual handling techniques Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining efficiency during busy service hours Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as commercial dishwashers and sanitizing stations Previous restaurant or hospitality experience demonstrating teamwork and adaptability Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness across the kitchen area This role offers an engaging opportunity to be an essential part of a lively culinary team dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
