Duties Efficiently wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including basic ingredient handling and setup Clear and reset tables promptly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space Support the bussing process by removing used dishes, glassware, and trash from tables and floors Operate kitchen equipment safely, such as dishwashers and manual cleaning tools Follow kitchen health and safety standards to ensure sanitation and prevent cross-contamination Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving supplies or equipment around the kitchen or dining area Skills Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation procedures Experience in food handling, food service, or restaurant environments preferred Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Familiarity with operating kitchen equipment like dishwashers and cleaning tools Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and hygiene standards Basic knife skills are a plus for assisting with food prep tasks Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting busy restaurant operations This role is perfect for individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in energetic environments.
