Join our hospitality team and help maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen. The Utility Worker/Dishwasher cleans and organizes dishes, cookware, equipment, and kitchen areas while supporting the food-and-beverage team in delivering excellent guest service. Key Responsibilities Set up the dishwashing station, including the dish machine, presoak areas, and required chemical supplies.
  • Wash, sanitize, organize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen utensils.
  • Monitor chemical levels and water temperatures according to sanitation and equipment requirements.
  • Operate and clean dishwashing equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or required repairs promptly.
  • Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces, including hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens, and grills.
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchens, workstations, and storage areas.
  • Follow productivity, sanitation, food-safety, security, and emergency procedures.
  • Assist with meeting-room setup, guest requests, or other hotel support duties when assigned.
  • Perform other related duties within the associate's training and capabilities.
Requirements:
Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, hospital, residential, or care-facility environment is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Food-handler certification preferred at hire and may be required after employment. Knowledge of safe dishwashing procedures, cleaning chemicals, sanitation requirements, and proper equipment use. Dependable, trustworthy, service-focused, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate professionally with guests and coworkers. Physical and Scheduling Requirements With or without reasonable accommodation, the associate must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, stretch, and reach; lift or carry up to 30 pounds; and push or pull up to 60 pounds. This on-site position may require varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employment may be subject to job-related screening consistent with company policy and applicable law.
