Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher, where your role is vital in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including ingredient handling and setup Support bussing duties by clearing tables and ensuring dining areas are tidy and welcoming Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including dishwashers and other cleaning machinery Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and moving kitchen items with proper technique Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in compliance with kitchen health and safety standards Support food handling practices that promote food safety management throughout the restaurant operations Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is valued Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures in a commercial kitchen setting Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Basic understanding of operating kitchen equipment such as dishwashers and cleaning tools Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and adherence to health standards Strong team player with good communication skills and a positive attitude towards work responsibilities Prior catering or food handling experience is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
