Dishwasher Job Description

General Responsibilities:

The Dishwasher manually or mechanically washes and rinses dishes, glasses and silverware, pots and pans and maintains proper temperature for sterilization and adds soap as needed, and performs other duties as assigned. The Dishwasher performs general dishwasher duties to ensure the cleaning and sanitizing of dishes, utensils, pots and pans.

Basic Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize dinnerware, utensils and trays are available to diners without delay Clean/sanitize all equipment and utensils using mechanical, manual or other established methods. Performs other duties as assigned by management or designated personnel.

Additional Responsibilities:

Adhere to the Company rules and regulations as set forth in the employee handbook. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager. Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent Ability to provide dishwashing, utensils, and pots and pans cleaning and sanitation services within a food service environment. Available to work any schedule during hours of operation. Authorization for a background check. Must provide proof of identity and U.S. work authorization. Physical Requirements Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Push and pull up to 50 lbs. Stands and moves within assigned work area for 6 to 7 hours (excluding breaks and lunch) Some bending, stooping and reaching as necessary to complete the work #
