Job Summary Join our vibrant culinary team as a Dishwasher/Kitchen Prep! Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety, enabling our kitchen to run smoothly and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop foundational kitchen skills while supporting a dynamic restaurant environment. Responsibilities Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment using proper dishwashing techniques and sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning supplies under supervision Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas by sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces regularly Support food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and sanitation protocols at all times Bypass used dishes and supplies to designated areas for cleaning or storage, ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours Help with bussing tables and clearing dining areas to ensure a clean dining experience for guests Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, including dishwashers, sinks, and other small appliances Skills Strong understanding of food safety management and sanitation practices in a restaurant setting Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of pots, pans, and crates safely Basic food preparation skills such as knife handling and ingredient assembly Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards to prevent accidents or contamination Experience with dishwashing procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain valuable kitchen experience while contributing to a lively dining atmosphere.
