Job Summary Join our dynamic culinary team as a Dishwasher/Food Prep Associate, where your energy and attention to detail will keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, preparing ingredients for cooking, and supporting the overall food service operation. Your dedication to sanitation, safety, and teamwork will help deliver exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment following food safety sanitizing procedures Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients in accordance with kitchen standards Support bussing duties by clearing tables, removing trash, and ensuring cleanliness of dining areas Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly, including dishwashers, ovens, and food prep tools Handle manual tasks such as lifting heavy pots or boxes of supplies while adhering to proper lifting techniques Follow strict sanitation standards to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment at all times Assist with food handling procedures during meal service or catering events to ensure quality and safety standards are met Experience Previous food service experience or restaurant background preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety management and sanitation practices is advantageous Familiarity with kitchen equipment operation and basic knife skills is a plus Experience in catering, banquet service, or hotel food operations can be beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting Strong understanding of kitchen health and safety standards along with hospitality principles This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to contribute to a vibrant culinary environment while honing essential skills in food preparation, sanitation, and customer service.
