Dishwasher / Busser The Hitching Post Restaurant & Saloon Green River, Wyoming The Hitching Post Restaurant & Saloon is hiring a dependable and hardworking Dishwasher / Busser to join our team. No previous restaurant experience is required—we are willing to train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. This position plays an important role in keeping our kitchen and dining room clean, organized, and running efficiently. The ideal candidate understands that every team member contributes to the guest experience and the overall success of the restaurant. Schedule We are seeking applicants with flexible availability for: Day shifts Evening and closing shifts Weekends Additional shifts as business needs require Primary Responsibilities Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and safe Carefully handle restaurant dishes and equipment to prevent damage or loss Clear, clean, sanitize, and reset tables Assist servers by removing used dishes and maintaining a clean dining room Keep floors, walkways, service areas, and workstations clean and free of hazards Empty trash and replace liners as needed Assist with basic cleaning and closing duties Restock dishes, silverware, and other service supplies Communicate with kitchen and front-of-house employees throughout the shift Complete additional cleaning or support duties assigned by management Help coworkers when needed and contribute to a team-oriented workplace What We Are Looking For No experience required; training will be provided Dependable and punctual Willing to work hard and remain productive throughout the shift Able to follow instructions and established cleaning procedures Positive and respectful attitude Able to work well as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment Flexible availability, including weekends and closing shifts Able to safely lift, carry, bend, reach, and remain on your feet for extended periods Uniform and Safety Requirements Employees must arrive in clean, presentable clothing and wear the provided white kitchen apron. Closed-toe, slip-resistant shoes are required. Employees are expected to maintain proper personal hygiene and follow all restaurant safety, sanitation, and employee policies.
