Casting Administrator (Disney Entertainment Television) Disney Entertainment Television - 5.0 Burbank, CA Job Details Full-time $72,000 - $96,500 a year 20 hours ago Qualifications Computer operation Administrative experience Technical Proficiency Full Job Description The Casting Administration Administrator plays a key role in supporting performer-related processes across multiple platforms, including prime time, basic cable, and streaming pilots and series. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage sensitive information while ensuring compliance with industry standards and studio policies.
Responsibilities:
Develop proficiency in specialized Casting Administration applications and tools. Review and validate deal memos submitted by casting directors and production teams, ensuring they adhere to applicable guild regulations and the studio's internal policies. Draft, review, and execute contracts for performers working on prime time, basic cable, and streaming pilots and series. Ensure timely processing of documents and compliance with required deadlines. Distribute, scan, file, and archive performer-related documents ensuring accurate record keeping and secure handling. Prepare and process paperwork for court approval of Minors. Maintain thorough logs for each episode of assigned projects to stay on top of key compliance deadlines. Review post-production timesheets to ensure accuracy and flag any necessary ADR payments to production payroll. Prepare and submit Taft-Hartley Reports to
SAG-AFTRA
for performers when required, ensuring timely and accurate compliance. Keep database records current with confidential details on projects, performers, and agents.
Basic Qualifications:
Ability to assess and prioritize critical incoming projects effectively Strong attention to detail with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience Solid understanding of business administration principles and practices Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to track, manage, and organize high volumes of details, data, and tasks Excellent interpersonal skills—an even-tempered and collaborative personality is essential Strong typing proficiency and computer literacy, including familiarity with relevant software and tools The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $72,000 to $96,500 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
