Usher / Cleaning Attendant Hourly rate: Starting at $17.27/hr, based on experience About Us Milagro Cinemas is a community-focused independent movie theater offering concessions with an expanded restaurant-style menu and a full beer and wine bar. We host first-run films, special screenings, and themed events inspired by the movies we show. Our small, hands-on team works together in a creative, fast-paced environment where great food, drinks, and hospitality meet the magic of cinema. Se habla español. Job Overview We're looking for a friendly, reliable person to keep our theater clean and welcoming while providing great guest service. This role covers auditorium cleaning between screenings, ongoing lobby and bathroom maintenance, ticket and ID checking, and helping guests find seats, answer questions, and enjoy their visit. This is a hands-on, cleaning-intensive role: expect frequent, repeated cleaning throughout every shift. On-the-job training provided. This part-time position (with potential to grow into full-time) is ideal for someone dependable who can work independently, stay on top of tasks during busy shifts, and help open or close as needed.
Availability required:
weekends, nights, and holidays. Responsibilities Clean and reset auditoriums between screenings (trash, spills, seating) Maintain clean, stocked bathrooms throughout shifts Maintain lobby and common area cleanliness Take out trash from auditoriums, lobby, and restrooms Refill condiments and restock supplies as needed Check theaters regularly for safety concerns and report issues promptly Monitor auditoriums during screenings and enforce theater policies (noise, phone use, disruptive behavior) Greet guests, check tickets, and assist with seating Answer guest questions and help resolve concerns Assist other areas of the theater as needed Support special events, screenings, and private rental events Assist with opening and/or closing duties as needed Follow safety and cleanliness standards throughout shift Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Previous customer service or cleaning experience a plus, not required Friendly, guest-focused attitude Comfortable standing and walking for long periods, with light lifting up to [X] lbs Reliable and able to work independently Must be available to work weekends, nights, and holidays Positive, team-oriented attitude
