Private Club Golf Shop Attendant Start Date:

ASAP Job Summary Utilizing general golf knowledge, excellent communication skills, and genuine hospitality to greet and assist members and their guests while they are at the club. Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the golf shop. Promote the events and traditions of the club while upholding and ensuring company and departmental policies and procedures. Top Roles, but not limited to the following: Cultivating a Premier Member Experience Clear communication Golfer Check In Golf Shop Presentation Tee Sheet Accuracy Job Tasks (including but not limited to) Assist members and their guests with entry to the club, reserving tee times, checking them in, and billing them accordingly Maintain a thorough knowledge of current services, activities, dining options, and daily hours of operation Accountable for guest satisfaction; address guest concerns in a timely and efficient manner Learn the names and personally recognize members and regular guests Assist Merchandiser with the display of new merchandise: Steam, ticket, fold, display Utilize the point of sale system Answer the phone in a timely manner Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas Uphold and ensure compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures Uphold appropriate departmental standards of quality/timing Attend all scheduled employee meetings and bring suggestions for improvement Assist in the operation of golf tournaments and outings Stocking and straightening merchandise as needed Education/Experience Golf knowledge preferred Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Consistently aspires to fulfill our core company values Must possess a positive attitude and have the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworker efficiently and effectively Ability to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changes easily If applicable, must be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in compliance with the company dress code Physical Requirements Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
