Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Golf Pro Shop Attendant, where you will be the welcoming face of our golf course's retail and guest services. This dynamic role combines retail sales, customer engagement, event support, and safety responsibilities to ensure an exceptional experience for every visitor. You'll be instrumental in managing shop operations, assisting guests with their needs, and maintaining a safe, organized environment that encourages outdoor activity and community connection. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, providing outstanding customer service and expert advice on golf equipment, apparel, and accessories Process cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems while adhering to cash handling procedures Assist with organizing and managing golf events, tournaments, and special outings to ensure smooth operations Maintain shop cleanliness, organize inventory, and restock merchandise efficiently to enhance the shopping experience Handle guest inquiries, resolve conflicts professionally, and manage challenging situations with tact and diplomacy Support event venue functions by coordinating logistics, managing crowd flow, and assisting with setup and breakdown when needed Requirements Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments; hospitality or resort experience is a plus Strong communication skills with the ability to speak confidently in public settings or during event presentations Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of merchandise or equipment safely Knowledge of safety protocols such as first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), and lifeguard experience is highly desirable Experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions; outdoor work experience preferred Familiarity with POS systems for processing transactions accurately Ability to manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a positive guest experience Experience working with children or in event management is advantageous; are a bonus Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing; attention to detail is essential Commitment to safety protocol adherence and excellent guest services throughout all interactions Join us in creating memorable moments on the course while fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors.
