Job Description
JOB SUMMARY STATEMENT
Perform the daily duties in operating the concession stand for a variety of events at Hidden Valley Park Softball Fields .DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Greet and interact with each patron with a polite and helpful attitude. 2. Complete sales of concession products to patrons. 3. Ensure proper cash handling and cash register procedures are followed to provide accurate record of sales. Follow proper closing procedures at end of shift. 4. Operate general concession equipment and follow proper safety and food handling procedures. 5. Perform daily cleaning of concession equipment, concession areas, and upper level commons area. 6. Perform inventory tracking and management of concession supplies or materials. 7. Performs other related work as required. The above duties and responsibilities include those tasks, physical and mental requirements, visual requirements, unique physical surroundings and mental/cognitive abilities required to perform the essential elements of the position.GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS
1. Education and Special License(s)/Certifications- Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. Ability to obtain proper food handlers permit upon hire. 2. Experience
- Previous restaurant, retail sales, or food handling experience is preferred. 3. Skills
- Must be able to work well under pressure and handle quickly changing priorities. Must have effective communication skills with patrons, supervisors and coworkers. Ability to provide exceptional customer service. 4. Mental Requirements
- Ability to make sound decisions and use good judgement. Communicate effectively with patrons. 5. Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods; must be able to walk frequently; must be able to use hands and fingers to operate, handle, and use general concession equipment. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds 5. Supervisory Responsibility
