POSITION SUMMARY

The golf cart attendant works closely with the Golf Professional/General Manager on the outside golf operations to assure a smooth transition for guests around the golf club in a fast paced environment. Primary responsibility falls on service to guests' efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and general cleaning before the next guest is scheduled to tee off. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision, self-initiative, as well as cordial interactions with guests on busy non-stop booked days for tee times. This is a pivotal position that other Team Member as well as customers depend on your performance. The Car Attendant must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent customer service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the golf club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled on any given day, if necessary.

DAY TO DAY ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

It must be recognized that all specific duties cannot be listed and that responsibilities will change accordingly as the need arises.

• This position will meet and greet all guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner.
• Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance.
• Responsible for cart supplies, cart condition and fueling.
• Keep the outside area uncontested, neat, clean.
• Do not allow carts to clog passage area. Arrange the carts neatly after having been used as well as rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.
• Responsible for the collection of, organization of, all range baskets used for the driving range, as well as cleanliness of the driving range area.
• Responsible for washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.
• Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean, free of trash and waste.
• Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations.
• Refer all major problems/complaints to the manager and/or golf shop personnel.
• Assist golf shop personnel in tournaments, outings setup of golf carts and range operations.
• Assist golf shop personnel in the stocking of beverages in the pro shop and half way house.
• Perform other duties as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Capable of working in a fast paced busy environment where priorities quickly change.
• If needed, be prepared for inclement weather with personal outerwear, i.e., raingear and/or windbreaker, etc.
• The Cart Attendant position requires full attention during scheduled hours.
• Must have excellent oral communication skills to both customers and Team Members.
• Enthusiastic, outgoing attitude, service and customer focused attitude.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Minimum Age:

15 yrs old

• A positive attitude while on the job is essential.
• Cart Attendant must be neat and well groomed in accordance to Boulder Creek Team Member standards
