Membership and Program ManagerRelease Well-Being Center • Westborough, MAAbout Release Release Well-Being Center is a wellness destination in Westborough, MA offering fitness, yoga, meditation, spa services, and our signature Bliss recovery amenities (sauna, cold plunge, steam room, mineral spa, salt room, and more). We're growing, our members love us, and we're looking for a driven, warm, and strategic leader to help us take the next step in membership growth and programming. The Role The Membership and Program Manager is a sales and business development role responsible for driving membership growth, expanding our programming, and building strategic partnerships that make Release the anchor wellness experience in the region. You'll follow up on marketing-generated leads, close new memberships, build a personal training and small group training program from the ground up, and cultivate relationships with complementary wellness businesses that expand what Release can offer. This is a role for someone who loves both the sales conversation and the strategic build. You'll be closing memberships one week and pitching a partnership with a local physical therapy practice the next. You'll report directly to the owner and manage our Fitness Instructors and Yoga Lead. What You'll Do Membership growth (primary focus) Follow up on all marketing-generated leads: newsletter respondents, event attendees, trial members, referrals, tour requests, and inbound inquiries Own the membership sales conversation from first touch through close Conduct member tours and consultations, matching prospects to the right membership tier Build and manage a lead pipeline in our systems Hit monthly and quarterly membership growth targets Partner with our Marketing and Growth Manager to convert marketing activity into actual memberships Personal training and small group training program development Build out a personal training offering at Release from the ground up Design and launch small group training programs that expand our fitness ecosystem Recruit, contract, and onboard personal trainers as needed Create pricing, packaging, and marketing strategy for training services Establish a personal training upsell path for existing members Track program performance and evolve based on member response Partnership development Identify and pursue partnerships with complementary wellness businesses (physical therapy, chiropractic, nutrition, medspa, mental health providers, and others) Build referral relationships that benefit both Release and our partners Explore co-marketing, cross-promotion, and shared programming opportunities Represent Release in the local wellness community Programming leadership Manage and support our Fitness Instructors and Yoga Lead in developing high-quality class programming Ensure our schedule reflects member demand, member survey insights, and business goals Collaborate on instructor hiring, retention, and compensation Oversee program launches, seasonal series, and workshop programming across fitness and wellness Team leadership Direct manager of the Fitness Instructors and Yoga Lead Support their growth and development in leading their respective teams Contribute to a warm, high-standards culture across the studio What You Bring 3+ years of sales, business development, or membership sales experience , ideally in wellness, fitness, hospitality, healthcare, or a related industry A genuine love of the sales conversation — you enjoy meeting new people, understanding what they need, and helping them see how Release can be part of their life Track record of hitting revenue or growth targets and comfort with metrics-driven work Experience building or scaling programs, services, or partnerships from concept to launch Warm, professional communication skills — you can move fluidly between a member consultation, a partnership pitch, and a team meeting Comfort with wellness industry culture — you don't need to be a certified trainer or yoga teacher, but you should understand and respect the world you're operating in Management experience or a clear readiness to grow into a management role Familiarity with CRM systems, membership platforms (MindBody a plus), and standard business tools Compensation and Benefits Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus structure tied to membership growth and program revenue Complimentary Release membership Health and dental benefits Discounts on additional services Paid time off Flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends required) Room to grow with Release as we expand To Apply Send your resume and a short note about why this role interests you to linda@releasewellbeingcenter.com.
