Pool Renovation Manager Watercrafters | Gaithersburg, Maryland | Full-time Lead residential pool renovation projects from the first customer consultation through the final quality check. Watercrafters has served Montgomery County pool owners since 1982. We are looking for a hands-on project manager who can combine renovation or construction knowledge with strong customer communication, careful planning, and consistent follow-through. This is not a desk-only position: you will visit job sites, prepare estimates, coordinate materials and subcontractors, monitor quality, solve problems, and keep customers informed. The right candidate has already managed residential renovation, construction, or pool projects and understands how to keep multiple jobs moving without losing control of details, schedules, costs, or customer expectations. What You Will Own

• Sales and estimating: Meet with homeowners, evaluate renovation needs, take measurements and site photos, define the scope, prepare accurate proposals, and follow up promptly.
• Proposal follow-through: Prepare accurate proposals and work with the Renovation Administrator to deliver them within established company turnaround times.
• Project planning: Build and maintain project schedules; coordinate crews, subcontractors, materials, deliveries, access, and weather-related changes.
• Jobsite leadership: Visit active projects, verify workmanship and progress, identify issues early, document work, reinforce company safety procedures, and ensure final cleanup and completion standards are met.
• Customer communication: Set clear expectations, provide regular updates, explain changes, and address customer concerns, warranty matters, and project deficiencies promptly and professionally.
• Cost and margin control: Track labor, material, change-order, and subcontractor costs; protect company gross-margin standards; and prevent avoidable rework.
• Team coordination: Work closely with the Renovation Administrator, field team, subcontractors, purchasing, service, retail, and company leadership.
• Project records: Keep customer profiles, job notes, photos, schedules, selections, contracts, and change orders accurate and current in company systems; learn and maintain proficiency in the tools used for scheduling, customer records, point-of-sale activity, and job documentation.
• Field accountability: Maintain accurate field-inventory records and ensure assigned company vehicles, tools, and equipment are kept organized and properly maintained. What We Need
• Minimum three years of experience managing residential construction, remodeling, outdoor-living, or swimming-pool renovation projects from estimate or planning through final completion.
• Working knowledge of jobsite sequencing, measurements, materials, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and change management.
• Ability to manage several active projects and priorities while maintaining accurate details and dependable follow-through.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with strong recall and disciplined follow-through; able to retain important customer and project information while keeping notes, records, selections, commitments, and deadlines accurate.
• Strong written, verbal, and in-person communication with homeowners, field personnel, subcontractors, and office staff.
• Sound judgment under pressure and the ability to address problems before they become larger customer or cost issues.
• Comfort using email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, customer records, and mobile job-photo/documentation software.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to residential job sites throughout the local service area.

• Direct swimming-pool renovation experience, including plaster, tile, coping, decking, equipment, or related outdoor construction, is strongly preferred.
• Experience estimating residential projects and presenting proposals to homeowners.
