Studio Manager — Orangetheory Fitness Be fit. Change lives. Have fun. Do you have a zest for life and fitness? If you're nodding and smiling and thinking, "YES!" then keep reading, because the Studio Manager role at Orangetheory Fitness might be the perfect fit for you. We're looking for a driven, approachable, and highly accountable leader to oversee the day-to-day success of our studio. The Studio Manager is responsible for driving membership growth, leading the sales team, creating an exceptional member experience, developing employees, and ensuring the studio operates at a high level. This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be in the studio, getting to know members by name, supporting your team, solving problems, celebrating milestones, and making sure the studio feels like a place people want to be. If something goes wrong, you get it fixed. If a team member needs support, you coach them. If a member is celebrating their 20th class or 65th birthday, you make sure they're recognized. When goals are set, you rally the team to achieve them. What You'll Do Lead the Studio Take ownership of the overall performance and day-to-day operations of the studio Set clear expectations for the team and hold employees accountable to them Partner with the Regional Manager and ownership team on studio goals, priorities, and initiatives Monitor studio performance and identify opportunities for improvement Ensure the studio consistently operates to Orangetheory standards Be a visible and engaged leader within the studio Drive Sales & Membership Growth Own membership growth, sales performance, and retention within the studio Lead the sales team toward monthly and annual goals Monitor key performance metrics and use data to identify opportunities Coach team members on lead follow-up, appointment setting, studio tours, and closing memberships Develop strategies to generate new leads and increase referrals and community awareness Help re-engage former and inactive members Create a culture where the team is motivated to achieve and exceed goals Develop & Lead the Team Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and develop studio employees Coach and provide ongoing feedback to team members Conduct regular performance conversations and hold employees accountable Recognize and celebrate team accomplishments Help identify and develop future leaders within the studio Build a positive, energetic, and team-oriented culture Ensure the studio is appropriately staffed and schedules are maintained Create an Exceptional Member Experience Build genuine relationships with members and create a welcoming studio environment Know members by name and make them feel valued every time they walk through the door Proactively address member concerns and find solutions Celebrate member milestones, birthdays, achievements, and successes Monitor member feedback and look for ways to continuously improve the member experience Build relationships within the local community to strengthen the studio's presence Own Studio Operations Ensure the studio is clean, organized, safe, and operating efficiently Oversee scheduling, staffing, inventory, supplies, and daily studio needs Ensure classes are appropriately staffed and coverage issues are addressed quickly Maintain accurate studio records and administrative processes Communicate effectively with the Regional Manager and ownership team Identify operational issues and take ownership of getting them resolved What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is energetic, organized, people-focused, and motivated by results .
The ideal candidate will have:
Prior management or leadership experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, sales, retail, or a related industry Experience leading, coaching, and developing a team Strong sales and business instincts A track record of meeting or exceeding goals Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time-management skills The ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities A high level of accountability and follow-through An enthusiastic, energetic, personable, and friendly personality A passion for health, wellness, fitness, and helping others The ability to motivate people while also holding them accountable A willingness to be hands-on and actively involved in the studio Orangetheory experience is a plus, but not required. We will consider strong leaders with management experience outside of fitness who demonstrate the ability to learn the Orangetheory model and lead a successful studio.
