Full Job Description What We Offer:
Novant Health Medical Group is seeking a Float Pool Operations Manager at the coast! This is a hybrid postion. Must be local to Wilmington or Leland, NC. The manager will manage, supervise, and coordinate all functions and activities related to the operations of the Staff Float Pool, Provider Float Pool and will have oversight of outside agency-supported programs such as ProScribe and AYA, and new collaborating contracted support. The Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive Float Pool program that supports all NHMG practices regardless of location or job role. Responsibilities include developing and monitoring the appropriate pricing structure and allocation of resources for supplying resources to internal customers. Responsibilities will include development and career growth of Staffing Coordinators, Supervisors, Physician, APP's and other assigned roles to ensure the team is functioning at maximum skill level of the team members. The role will also encompass oversight and coordination of outside agencies providing services to include scribes or clinical/clerical roles through temporary employment agencies. The manager will also partner with other Central Operations departments and market leaders to evaluate the need for new services and workflow improvements. Position includes direct supervision of Float Pool staffing coordinators and supervisory roles as aligned per primary market and team members in the Float Pool department.What We're Looking For:
Education:
4 Year / Bachelors Degree, required.Experience:
Two years Supervisory/Management experience, required. Physician Practice Management experience, preferred. Additional Skills (required): Knowledge of organization policies and procedures. Knowledge of fiscal management and human resource management techniques. Knowledge of office management techniques and practices. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in gathering, analyzing, and evaluating data. Skill in written and verbal communication. Ability to apply policies and principles to solve everyday problems and deal with a variety of situations. Ability to exercise initiative, critical thinking, problem-solving and decision making. Ability to read, interpret and apply clinic policies and procedures. Ability to identify problems and recommend solutions. Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
