Job Description
We are looking for a Pool Room Manager to join our growing team and help us maintain our status as the #1 retailer in the pool and spa industry. This position is responsible for leading the daily operations of the Pool Room at our Evendale Showroom while providing exceptional customer service and supporting sales growth. This position will be the voice for our company with our customers in using excellent Customer Service and Retail skills. Associates will be the driving force of customer satisfaction, receiving inbound calls and overseeing our Pool Room with excellent communication. Lead, coach, and develop Pool Room associates to provide exceptional customer service. Ensure accurate water testing and educate customers on proper pool and spa maintenance. Assist customers with selecting pool chemicals, equipment, accessories, and replacement parts. Maintain proper inventory levels and coordinate replenishment of pool chemicals and merchandise. Ensure merchandise is stocked, organized, and presented according to company standards. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Monitor sales performance and work to achieve departmental sales goals. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Collaborate with the Service Department, Sales Team, and Warehouse to ensure excellent customer experiences. Perform opening and closing procedures and other operational duties as needed. Qualifications Previous retail management or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and team-building skills. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Working knowledge of pool care and water chemistry required. Ability to interpret water test results and recommend appropriate treatment solutions. Highly organized and self-motivated. Computer proficiency; AS400 experience is beneficial. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle pool chemicals. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Watson's is committed to offering the best possible price and selection for our customers.
