Job Description

Currently offering a $125 sign on bonus if you work until your first pay day and an additional $125 if you stay for 60 days. Must have a minimum of one year experience working with intellectually and developmentally disabled adults in a day program setting or similar job (activities director, etc) to apply for this position. Job Requirements / Essential Functions 1. Must have sufficient experience with individuals with developmental disabilities/health care experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. 2. Must be able to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team oriented. relationships with coworkers, supervisors, supervisees, and other providers of services to TrueNorth residents. 3. Must have good written and verbal communication skills. 4. Must be accessible by phone or message device. 5. Must be able to access reliable transportation to fulfill job responsibilities. 6. Must be physically able to perform the assigned tasks, including but not limited to the ability to achieve and maintain the required level of OIS certification for the department in which the individual is to work. 7. Must be able to qualify as a driver for company owned vehicles. 8. Must be able to qualify as a signer for company/resident banking accounts. 9. Maintain current cpr and first aid certification. The Program Manager is in charge of the day program whether it be the financials, the staffing, discipline, training and growth of the staff, They will follow all licensing OAR's and policies of TrueNorth Oregon to ensure that the residents needs are met and residents are living fulfilling lives. In the Day Services Department there is an Assistant Manager that is also supervised by the Program Manager.

Qualifications are:
must be 21 years old, must have had a license for over 3 years, must have an Oregon license and must have a fairly clean driving record for the past 3 years (no DUII, SR22, ticket for 20+ over the speed limit, school zone ticket or mobile device ticket in last 3 years). This will not eliminate you from qualifying for the position. Is there any reason you may not qualify to be a signer on company and resident bank accounts? The Program Manager typically works Monday-Friday, day shifts. Our day program may eventually start scheduling weekend days as well and to help staff the program you might have to help on the floor with the DSP's. Is it a problem for you to help cover on weekends or weekdays?
