Job Description
Lake Texoma | Full-Time | Hands-On Leadership Role If you'd rather spend your workday around the lake than behind a desk, this might be your kind of job. We're looking for a Fuel Dock & Recreation Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Fuel Dock and Island View Park. This is a hands-on hospitality leadership position combining guest service, seasonal staff management, recreation, retail operations, and plenty of time outside. During our busy summer season, you'll lead a team made up largely of high school and college-age employees—helping train staff, build schedules, coordinate daily operations, and make sure your locations are ready to welcome guests. We're a team company, and this position works closely with nearly every department. You'll coordinate with our Guest Services team on reservations and guest needs, work alongside our Merchandiser to keep stores stocked and ready, communicate with our Projects team when repairs or maintenance are needed, and partner with Housekeeping to keep our spaces clean and looking their best. You'll still be hands-on when needed—from taking a reservation or helping a guest to jumping in alongside your seasonal team on a busy Saturday. We have our own custom booking platform that's easy to use. Your first week or two will primarily focus on learning our systems, properties, policies, and how our different teams work together. What we're looking for: At least 1 year of hospitality leadership experience OR marine industry experience Experience with both is a major plus Comfortable leading and working alongside seasonal staff Strong organization, communication, and scheduling skills Confident working with guests and handling reservations Able to coordinate multiple teams and moving pieces Comfortable working outdoors and staying active Someone who sees something that needs to be done and is willing to jump in Because we're a hospitality and lake recreation company, weekends and holidays are required, particularly during peak season. No two days look exactly the same. You might spend one morning working on staff schedules, coordinate with Guest Services on upcoming reservations, check inventory with Merchandising, follow up on a repair, and spend the afternoon outside supporting your team and guests. If you're organized, good with people, comfortable taking charge, and enjoy being part of a team that works together to create great experiences on Lake Texoma, we'd love to meet you.
