Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking an reliable, energetic, motivated Aquatics Manager to help lead our aquatic team and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality swim instruction. This role is ideal for experienced aquatic leaders who love working with children, coaching staff, and creating a positive, safety-driven environment. The Aquatics Manager supports daily pool operations, coaches and develops instructors, monitors lesson quality, and ensures every family experiences exceptional service the Aqua-Tots way. What You'll Do As an Aquatics Manager, you will: Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the swim instruction team, ensuring high-quality and consistent lessons. Train, certify, and onboard instructors in the Aqua-Tots curriculum and safety standards. Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and lesson consistency. Oversee pool operations in compliance with public health and safety guidelines. Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong family relationships. Support recruitment, team development, and daily operational goals. Lesson Quality & Safety Ensure all swim lessons follow Aqua-Tots curriculum standards Monitor lesson consistency, timing, and student progress Perform assessments on AT-WSIs and assist instructors with curriculum questions Maintain a safe, clean, and organized pool environment Manage pool closures and safety protocols when needed Customer Engagement & Communication Provide exceptional service to families by greeting students, answering curriculum questions, and supporting students in distress Address parent concerns and escalate issues as needed Promote a warm, welcoming, family-friendly culture around the pool deck Operational Support Assist in scheduling aquatic staff and ensuring proper shift coverage Help manage class schedules, rosters, student progression, and in-water evaluations Complete daily documentation including logs, incident reports, and shift notes Ensure pool equipment is set up and ready before lessons begin Minimum Qualifications Must hold or obtain Aqua-Tots Master Water Safety Instructor (AT-MWSI) Certification Must hold or be able to obtain a Shallow Water Lifeguard certification Must hold or obtain CPO (Certified Pool Operator) Certification Ability to swim and demonstrate in-water skills as needed Strong communication and leadership skills Customer service experience Must be available for flexible scheduling based on school needs Minimum 18 years old Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in aquatics, teaching, coaching, or working with children Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) License Leadership or supervisory experience Valid driver's license Why Join Aqua-Tots? $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
