Owner/Regional Brand Manager Position Overview The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and success of the gym. This role is a blend of leadership, sales, operations, and customer service. The GM will ensure an exceptional member experience, drive membership growth, oversee staff performance and members fitness journeys, and maintain operational excellence. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a genuine passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing team of Coaches. Foster a positive and motivating work environment aligned with the Anytime Fitness brand and our Core Values. Conduct regular team meetings, performance evaluations, manage the schedules and develop members of the team. Sales & Marketing Achieve monthly membership sales goals through effective lead generation, follow-up, and operational standards. Oversee local marketing initiatives, community outreach, and social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and membership. Analyze membership and revenue reports to drive strategic decisions and continuous improvement. Operations & Member Experience Ensure the gym maintains high standards of cleanliness, safety, and equipment functionality. Deliver an exceptional member experience by managing the member life cycle and converting to training programs. Manage budgets, payroll, inventory, and vendor relationships. Ensure compliance with Anytime Fitness brand standards and local/state regulations. Community Engagement Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to promote partnerships and corporate memberships. Represent the Anytime Fitness brand in the community through events, networking, and sponsorships. Qualifications 2+ years of management experience, preferably in fitness, hospitality, or sales. Proven success in sales, marketing, and driving team performance. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Passion for fitness and helping others improve their lives. Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as needed. Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office, CRM systems, POS systems, google applications). Personal Training Certification (nationally accredited) CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
