Overview Assists in administering all daily Golf Operations department duties including, but not limited to: Golf Shop operations and managing tee sheet/revenues, operating POS system, managing and training Golf Shop, Customer Care and Guest Services teams, helping oversee Driving Range operations, assisting with merchandise, ensuring memorable and smooth customer experience.

Essential Responsibilities Essential Duties:
Works closely with the Head Golf Professional in running and managing all areas of the Golf Operations department. Plans, develops and approves specific operational policies, programs, procedures and methods in concert with general Club policies for all areas of the Golf Operations department. Involved with interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining associates; address complaints and resolving problems. Assists in administering all Point of Sales application needs as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing. Coordinates with Accounting on policy and procedures, updates, and implementation. Reconciles daily tee sheets, performs check-in, and receives payments from members and guests. Resolves discrepancies as they appear and audits throughout to ensure proper execution. Assists coordinating local membership programs through sales, payment execution, and member satisfaction. Monitors daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance and helps craft action plans for executional performance vs. budgets as needed. Promotes all Club golf activities and is involved in running and executing such, including both internal and external driven tournament events. Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked Golf Shop. Assists in merchandise procurement and associated expenses tracking and processing along with Cost of Goods Sold evaluations and analysis. Prepares for all golf outings including coordinating details and day-of execution. Follows established opening and closing procedures in all departments and helps create systems for tracking and accountability. Operates often as Manager on Duty in helping lead performance, handle issues as they arise, and work together in unison with other Club departments. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. Regular and reliable attendance. Performs other duties as required.
