Job Description

Position Overview:
The Junior Varsity Club Specialist Lead oversees daily operations of the Junior Varsity Club, including staff scheduling, team leadership, and ensuring a safe, clean, and engaging environment for members' children. This role partners with the Front Desk to manage check-in/check-out procedures and ensures compliance with all safety and operational standards while delivering exceptional member service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations and staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage Train, support, and communicate regularly with team members Coordinate with Front Desk staff regarding scheduling, incidents, and member needs Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive member relationships Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in accordance with established procedures Administer first aid as needed and document/report all incidents Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized environment Monitor and report equipment or facility issues Promote club programs and amenities to enhance member engagement Submit updates and identify opportunities for program improvements
Qualifications:
Required:
6+ months of childcare experience CPR/First Aid certification Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and work independently Must pass a background check
Preferred:
1+ year in customer service or team-based environment Experience in a health, wellness, or fitness setting
Bilingual Additional Requirements:
Flexible schedule (days, evenings, weekends, holidays) Ability to lift up to 25 lbs Professional, reliable, and team-oriented Interest in child development, health, and wellness

$16-$20 hourly, dependent on experience and skill set
