Job Description
Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a Fun Club Program Leader, where your enthusiasm and creativity will ignite joy and engagement among children and youth! In this dynamic role, you will design, organize, and lead exciting activities that foster social skills, teamwork, and personal growth. Your leadership will create a safe, inclusive environment where young participants can explore new interests, develop confidence, and build lasting friendships. Duties Plan and implement engaging youth programs and activities that promote fun, learning, and personal development. Supervise children and teenagers during activities, ensuring safety and positive behavior management at all times. Foster an inclusive environment by encouraging participation from diverse groups of children with varying needs. Maintain safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification, AED operation, and behavior management strategies. Collaborate with team members to develop age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with developmental milestones and educational standards. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and team members regarding program updates and participant progress. Ensure all activities adhere to health and safety regulations, including outdoor work safety practices when applicable. Experience Prior experience working with children or youth in educational, camp, or childcare settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and guide young participants. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques. Experience facilitating youth group activities or similar programs that promote social-emotional learning. Certifications in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and basic first aid protocols are required or must be obtained prior to employment. Background in special education or experience working with children with diverse needs is a plus. Previous outdoor work experience or camp experience is beneficial for managing outdoor activities safely.
