About the Role We are seeking a highly driven VR Event Manager with a true "owner-operator" mindset to be the operational engine of our free-roam virtual reality gaming event services. You will step into a three-year established flow of business supported by active marketing campaigns that generate consistent inbound emails, phone calls, and reservation requests. In addition to planning and delivering exceptional on-site experiences, you will actively network to continuously build our event pipeline. As operations scale, you will step into a leadership role, managing a small team to support our growing event schedule. This role is designed for a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys client interaction, and is comfortable managing both technical equipment out in the field and the people running it.
Key Responsibilities Event Consultation:
Promptly handle a steady stream of incoming phone calls, emails, and reservation requests, using a consultative approach to guide inquiries into booked events.
Event Execution:
Manage the logistics of transporting and setting up a lightweight portable virtual reality arena at various client locations.
Technical Operation:
Oversee the hardware and software during live events, ensuring smooth system deployment and minimal downtime.
Customer Service:
Provide professional, engaging, and high-energy assistance to all end-users and event attendees.
Business Development:
Act as the face of the brand at events and partner venues. You will actively engage with spectators, answer questions, and leverage natural networking opportunities to secure future events.
Team Leadership:
Train, schedule, and manage a small team of event staff and technicians as operations scale. Qualifications Owner-operator" mindset with a proven ability to self-manage, execute independently, and take pride in representing the brand. Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills for handling inbound customer consultation and on-site networking. Previous experience in team leadership, training, or staff management is highly preferred. Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot hardware and network connectivity on the fly. Reliable transportation capable of moving equipment to various event sites.

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
