We participate in events throughout Los Angeles, including family concerts, festivals, fairs, markets, and private events such as film studio catering, birthdays, graduations, school events and fundraisers, charity events and more. We have an awesome team of ice cream truck drivers, event coordinators, and staff. We love to have fun service ice cream and bring a smile to people's faces!
The position:
This position is for and Ice Cream Scooper and Server on the ice cream trucks! You will meet us at our events, help with customer service, making and serving ice cream, and keeping the truck clean and tidy. You will always be working with the support and supervision of an ice cream truck driver, who drives to events, sets up the trucks and oversees the entire shift. Your duties Speak with customers, explain the menu, take orders and payment Making and serving ice cream to customers Clean and sanitize work areas during and at the end of shifts
Availability & Reliability:
We are looking for staff to work 2-4 shifts per week on a flexible schedule You must be available to work at least one weekend day a week, 3 weeks out of every month. There are also weekday shifts available. The more available you are, the more work opportunities you will get You must have reliable transport to the events
Experience:
Previous experience in food service is preferred but not necessary Full training will be provided Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment We are looking for someone who Is a team player and gets on well with others Enjoys serving customers Is reliable and punctual Pay The pay is $18/hr, plus tips The typical shift length is between 3-6 hours plus your travel time You will be paid for your travel time from home to the events If this sounds like the job for you, please answer the questions below.
