Events Manager, Robotaxi
Job Description
What to Expect The Robotaxi Events Manager is a high-impact role driving the sourcing, development, logistics, execution, and optimization of events and campaigns designed to bring Robotaxi and Cybercab to the world. This includes responsibilities related but not limited to sourcing and scaling events, creating events, media opportunities, and collaborations. As Events Manager, you are the face of Robotaxi. This individual excels in cross-functional alignment, managing complex initiatives, and building robust strategies to grow Robotaxi's presence in new and existing markets. Understanding and evaluating performance and KPIs is critical to the success of the program. You will partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program success from start to finish. What You'll Do Ability to paint a picture of the future of autonomous transportation to inspire genuine excitement Lead end-to-end strategy planning, coordination, logistics, and delivery of high-visibility events, media opportunities, and expansion Exercise independent judgement and quick thinking to resolve logistical, technical, or operational challenges during events to ensure the best event experience Manage internal (programs, software, hardware, logistics, etc.) and external (business, influencers, vendors, media) relationships along with community engagement while driving growth and closeness Take ownership in maintaining relationships and negotiating with external stakeholders to bring in new and unique opportunities that significantly benefit Robotaxi and Tesla's product vision Monitor and grow event KPIs, conduct event post-mortems, and implement data-driven insights to refine and optimize processes to scale event strategies Demonstrate leadership in big-picture initiatives, providing direction and strategy insights to leadership to shape the product narrative What You'll Bring 4+ years in similar demand generation, or strategic program management roles Strong ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines while adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced ambiguous environment Expertise in strategic planning, logistics, execution, and optimization of demand generation programs, with experience collaborating and advising senior leadership for decision-making reports and presentations. This role requires independent judgement, quick thinking, and strategic decision-making Experience in negotiating partnerships and contracts with third-party vendors to drive growth with little oversight Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
