Job Description

The Departments of Kinesiology and Allied Health Science are seeking two Sacramento State students to serve as Assistant Event Coordinators for the Career, Advising, and Professional Skills (CAPS) Event. The Assistant Event Coordinators will work with the CAPS faculty leads to support event planning, coordination, and implementation and help meet the needs of event partners and participants. CAPS follows a mini-career fair format and provides students with opportunities to connect with graduate and vocational programs, student organizations, and Sacramento State resources that support student success and career development. The event primarily serves students interested in kinesiology, recreation and sport administration, health science, and allied health careers. CAPS will take place on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, from 2:00-5:30 p.m. in the University Union Ballroom at Sacramento State.
