Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Intern to support the planning and execution of engaging, successful events. This position offers hands-on experience in event coordination, vendor management, logistics, and on-site operations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, creative, and eager to build a career in events, hospitality, or a related field. Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and coordinating meetings, conferences, events, and other programs. Research potential clients, vendors, entertainment, and event materials. Help maintain event timelines, checklists, calendars, and customer communications. Support in responding to routine participant inquiries. Prepare event materials, signage, presentations, and day-of itineraries as needed. Aid in activating a variety of locations throughout the ballpark. Coordinate event-related communications with organizers, vendors, sponsors, and attendees. Provide on-site support with setup, registration, guest assistance, vendor coordination, and breakdown. Collect attendee feedback and help prepare post-event reports. Perform administrative duties and other event-related tasks as assigned. Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in event management, hospitality, communications, public relations, business, or a related field or equivalent work experience. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Availability to work occasional mornings/evenings or weekends, depending on the event schedule. Previous event, hospitality, customer service, or administrative experience is helpful but not required. Compensation This position is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt role with an expected pay of $16.90/hr.
