About the
Role:
The Paradigm Innovation Institute Events Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse range of events that support the Institute's mission to advance healthcare innovation. This role is pivotal in creating impactful experiences that engage healthcare professionals, researchers, and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing. The Events Manager will oversee all logistical aspects, from venue selection and vendor management to budgeting and compliance with health and safety regulations. By managing both in-person and virtual events, the role ensures seamless delivery that enhances the Institute's reputation and outreach. Ultimately, the Events Manager will drive event strategies that align with organizational goals and contribute to the growth and visibility of the Paradigm Innovation Institute within the healthcare community.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field. At least 3 years of professional experience managing events, preferably within the healthcare or nonprofit sectors. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and external partners. Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare services or with healthcare innovation organizations. Familiarity with virtual event platforms and digital engagement tools. Strong analytical skills to assess event performance metrics and implement improvements. Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings and weekends, to support event schedules.Responsibilities:
Develop, plan, and execute a comprehensive calendar of events including conferences, workshops, seminars, and networking sessions tailored to healthcare innovation. Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all event components are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Manage event logistics such as venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, registration processes, and compliance with health and safety protocols. Oversee marketing and communication efforts related to events, including promotional campaigns, attendee engagement, and post-event follow-up. Monitor event budgets, negotiate contracts, and prepare detailed reports on event outcomes and participant feedback to inform future planning.Skills:
The Events Manager will utilize strong organizational skills daily to coordinate complex event logistics and ensure seamless execution. Communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams, vendors, and attendees, fostering collaboration and clear information flow. Proficiency with event management software and digital tools enables efficient registration, marketing, and virtual event facilitation. Analytical skills support the evaluation of event success through data collection and feedback analysis, guiding continuous improvement. Additionally, negotiation and budgeting skills are applied to secure cost-effective vendor contracts and maintain financial oversight of event expenditures.Compensation details:
