Event Coordinator (Part-Time) Ultimate Staffing Services - 3.8 Hartford, CT Job Details Contract Up to $24 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Vendor relationship building Project coordination Full Job Description Ultimate Staffing is seeking an organized and energetic Event Coordinator to support a well-established nonprofit organization in East Hartford. This part-time opportunity is ideal for a candidate with prior event management experience who enjoys planning meaningful events, coordinating logistics, and working collaboratively with volunteers, vendors, and community stakeholders. The Event Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a variety of fundraising, community outreach, and donor engagement events while ensuring a positive experience for attendees and participants. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate nonprofit events, fundraisers, community programs, and special engagements. Manage event logistics including venue coordination, catering, equipment rentals, and vendor communications. Develop event timelines and ensure all deadlines are met. Coordinate event registration, attendee communications, and RSVP tracking. Assist with volunteer recruitment, scheduling, and event-day coordination. Work closely with internal teams to support fundraising and community outreach initiatives. Monitor event budgets and track expenses. Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown. Maintain event records and prepare post-event reports and evaluations. Build and maintain positive relationships with sponsors, donors, vendors, and community partners. Qualifications Prior experience in event planning, event management, or event coordination required . Experience supporting nonprofit events, fundraising activities, or community outreach programs preferred. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Flexibility to work occasional evening events as needed.
