Join our dynamic team as an Event Cook/Cashier, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary experiences and outstanding customer service at our lively event venues. This energetic position combines food preparation, kitchen operation, and cashier responsibilities to ensure seamless event execution. You will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety standards, and providing friendly, efficient service to guests. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and have a passion for culinary arts and customer engagement, this opportunity is perfect for you! Responsibilities Handle cash register operations accurately, process transactions swiftly, and provide excellent customer service during food service periods. Prepare a variety of menu items with precision, adhering to recipes and presentation standards to deliver delicious, high-volume meals. Observe enough food on display for customers. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food prep tools. Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe environment for both staff and guests. Support food production activities such as food handling, cooking, grilling, frying, and other culinary techniques to meet event demands. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal preparation and smooth event flow while maintaining a positive atmosphere. Assist in setting up and packing up booth displays before and after events Qualifications Previous experience as a food service role within a restaurant or catering environment is highly preferred. Can drive anywhere within the state mostly in Central Florida area. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work outdoors in hot Florida summer. Flexible schedule from Friday evening to Sunday evening, and some holidays. Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures to uphold health standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle cash transactions confidently. Prior experience working in fine dining or catering environments is advantageous but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
