This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with people, being part of a team, and helping create memorable event experiences. Event experience is not required—we're willing to train the right person. Compensation $18-$20 per hour Pay will be based on experience, skills, and responsibilities. Service Area Our events are primarily located throughout West Volusia , including: DeBary Deltona DeLand Orange City Osteen Lake Helen Surrounding Central Florida areas Responsibilities As an Event Assistant, you may be responsible for: Assisting with the setup and breakdown of event equipment Setting up, operating, and managing photo booths during events Assisting guests with the photo booth experience Assisting with special effects, lighting, and other event equipment Capturing photos and videos for social media and behind-the-scenes content Supporting our DJs and event team throughout weddings and other events Keeping equipment, work areas, and event spaces organized Interacting professionally and positively with clients and guests Following event timelines, instructions, and company procedures Assisting with other event-related tasks as needed What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, energetic, and willing to learn.

Requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older Primarily available for weekends, afternoons, and evenings Reliable transportation Reside in West Volusia or a nearby area Able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude Reliable, responsible, and punctual Comfortable working weddings, parties, and other events Comfortable using a smartphone to capture photos and videos Professional appearance and behavior Willing to learn and take direction Able to work independently when needed Experience That's a Plus Previous experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required : Weddings or event production Hospitality or customer service DJ or event entertainment Photo booths Event lighting Social media Event setup/production Training will be provided for the right candidate.
