Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Event Manager to lead demand generation and attendee acquisition for a portfolio of continuing education-eligible events in Georgia. This role is focused on building the marketing strategy that drives relevant decision-makers to attend introductory programs, client engagement events, specialty sessions, and large-scale conferences. The ideal candidate brings a strong direct-response mindset, excels at managing performance against attendance goals, and collaborates effectively with internal teams and external partners to deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities:
- Create and oversee the yearly event marketing roadmap, including campaign timing, promotional strategy, and budget management across multiple event types.
- Define target audiences and develop segmentation and list strategies for prospects, active clients, members, and former participants to improve outreach effectiveness.
- Manage the full webinar-to-registration journey, from shaping topics and promotions to increasing conversions into paid event attendance.
- Lead attendee generation efforts for partner-led and joint promotional events by coordinating shared campaigns, aligning outreach plans, and driving registration targets.
- Develop and optimize registration experiences, including pricing structures, deposit options, deadlines, and other conversion-focused mechanics.
- Build communication workflows that increase attendance, including reminder campaigns, confirmation touchpoints, and pre-event messaging that prepares registrants to participate.
- Monitor registration performance against established milestones, identify pacing risks early, and recommend corrective actions to improve event fill rates.
- Establish clear event marketing measurement standards, maintain reliable reporting baselines, and track return on investment across campaigns and channels.
- Partner with creative, paid media, member marketing, and strategic alliance teams by setting campaign direction, developing briefs, and ensuring execution meets performance goals.
