Special Events Manager Secure and service weddings and catering business from the Social Market, through active and effective promotion while maintaining FS standards and maximizing revenue/profit potential. The Special Events Manager will be selling weddings and catering related events. What You Will Do Finalize the requirements of confirmed bookings while maximizing revenue potential through up selling and ensuring effective communication both written (Resumes, BEO, Daily Reports) and personal contact with all departments for the success of the event. Ensure accuracy of Banquet Checks and provide bill review on completion of program or event. Prepare a monthly booking report. Ensure all information is noted in Golden Sales and Catering for accurate account information. Actively respond to inquiries with the intention of confirming profitable Wedding, catering and special events business and achieving Quarterly Sales Goals. Maintain an active trace/follow-up system on all inquiries and personal sales calls. Conduct property tours and host meeting, social event, and weddings while overseeing banquet event execution, coordinating function space setup with the Banquet Manager and Head House Attendant as needed, and ensuring client satisfaction throughout all events. What You Will Bring Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Strong selling and interpersonal skills. High level of creativity. Attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced, client-driven environment. Ability to work long and irregular hours, weekends, evenings and holidays. Salesforce, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook knowledge required. Naturally positive, optimistic, and solutions-oriented approach to work. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment, supporting colleagues during periods of high demand and team member absences to ensure seamless service and business continuity. Salary Range:
$83,600 - $92,400
