This role works with event coordinators and venue staff to help ensure events are organized, safe, clean, and professionally executed. Responsibilities Assist with preparing event spaces before scheduled events. Set up and arrange tables, chairs, decorations, signage, displays, and event equipment. Prepare meeting, dining, reception, and other event areas according to event requirements. Organize event supplies, equipment, materials, and service areas. Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and storing event equipment and supplies. Support event coordinators and venue staff with event-day operations. Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional assistance. Assist with guest check-in, seating, directions, and general event support. Answer routine guest questions and direct concerns to the appropriate team member. Support food and beverage service when assigned. Monitor common event areas and help maintain a clean, organized, and presentable environment. Restock supplies, beverages, utensils, guest materials, and other event items as needed. Communicate maintenance needs, equipment issues, supply shortages, and service concerns to supervisors. Assist with routine coordination involving vendors, caterers, event staff, and venue personnel. Follow event schedules, venue procedures, company policies, and workplace safety guidelines. Handle venue equipment, decorations, supplies, and customer property carefully and responsibly. Assist with event breakdown, cleanup, packing, and storage after events. Help return equipment and supplies to designated storage areas. Support coworkers during busy events and changing operational conditions. Perform other event operations and venue support duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous event, venue, hospitality, catering, facilities, or customer service experience is preferred but not required. Friendly, professional, and service-oriented attitude. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow schedules, instructions, and established venue procedures. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Comfortable working in busy, fast-paced, and changing event environments. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving event supplies as needed. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling unexpected operational needs.
